Everything from the food to the atmosphere was sublime! I loved how they made the inside look like the classic Japanese booth style. Their omurice was delicious and bouncy, and their ramen broth was super creamy. Everything we had was just super good. The service was pretty fast as well. There are many great restaurants on this block, and I highly recommend this place if you're stuck choosing between all of them!

Ordered the spicy ramen and omurice curry with thai iced tea. We got seated in one of the booths. The atmosphere of the interior design was so nice and really enjoyed dinner there. Great spot to dine in!

This has been one of my favorite dining experiences in Boston since moving here! From the moment I stepped in the door, I was met with the kindest and most accommodating service ever. The hostess gave me choice of any seating available, and even informed me of the benefits of each in order to make my decision. Throughout in the evening, our waitress was quick to fill our waters, bring us our food, and provide anything else we requested. On top of this, they packaged our leftovers for us. Overall the night was made simple and easy all thanks to the wonderful staff! As for the ambiance, the traditional decor was so cute bringing a calming modern vibe that highlights the private experiencing of dining out with your friends or family. They have dynamic seating including a bar and curtained off booths. It's such a fun and aesthetic spot to eat! Now, I can't stop without mentioning the food itself! This is by far one of my favorite ramen spots in all of Boston! The broth is creamy and deep with a rich umami flavor that is perfectly accompanied by the springy texture and eggy taste of the noodles. They grab hold of the soup base so well, allowing for all the delicious flavors to reach your mouth in one bite. For the price, the serving size is spot on, and the amazing taste just makes it that much more worth it! Not to mention the jammy egg and tender pork toppings! I love this bowl, you need to give it a try!!

Came here for my birthday with my boyfriend! We luckily got seated in one of the private booths and service was super quick despite the restaurant looking kind of busy. It was a cold day and rainy so I was craving something new, but warm and this restaurant had recently opened. We ordered the following dishes: Kyushu Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen with extra corn and extra soft boiled egg: This dish I would rate it 8/10. It was a decent ramen for a rainy day but the ramen came with wavy noodle which texture wise was similar to a fancy instant ramen. Our favorite was the cha siu and the broth that was pretty good, but noodle was ok. I saw straight noodle is also offered so might try this next time! Takoyaki Octopus Balls: We ordered this because my boyfriend is a fan of takoyaki. But we both thought it tasted like something was missing, so 7/10. We think maybe it's missing the flavor of nori or scallions. I do want to say that the octopus piece inside was tender and not hard to chew. Yakitori Platter (5 Skewers): IMMEDIATE 11/10, they popped off on this dish. We both thought this was the best dish of the night!! It comes with grilled chicken thigh w leek, beef skirt, pork belly, baby scallop and zucchini. All of them were grilled to perfection. Super tender meats, not overcooked and well seasoned. I would've ordered like 10 of these. My favorite skewer was the baby scallops, it reminded me of the scallops I had back in Japan at Tsukiji Market but in Japan the scallop had roe as well (tastewise it came super close to what I had). Classic Omurice Combo (Classic Omurice + Amazing Lemonade): This dish was the deciding factor for me to try this restaurant because there are not a lot of Japanese restaurants in the US that has this unique experience where when you slice the egg open, it gently spreads. This dish was a 7.5/10, it was ok and the reason why was maybe because the rice didn't have too much flavor besides soy sauce, a bit of chicken and peas (I'm not a big fan of peas). I chose to have curry sauce to keep the omurice with a japanese vibe, curry sauce was also ok. The sauce had a very beefy flavor. I also think the rice had less flavor since the curry sauce was the main flavor. The egg however, I thought it was not bad, super soft and custard like texture. I likely would maybe order it again to try it with tonkatsu, but again this dish was more of an experience. It was fun watching the egg cutting part! Amazing Lemonade: 8.5/10 its like a sweetened lemonade. Nothing extraordinary about it but it was pretty refreshing! Matcha Tiramisu: 8.5/10 I always wanted to try this type of matcha tiramisu style in a bamboo square. It was not bad! Light and creamy with a good amount of matcha. I did notice there was a bit more mascarpone or whipped cream than the actual lady finger/cake, which personally I prefer an even amount of both. I would definitely come back to try different dishes and probably re-order just the yakitori platter.

Went here right after it opened up, but I never wrote a review. I remember really liking it though, so I decided to order some delivery from here via UberEats. So. Glad. I. Did!!! I got the Pork Tonkatsu Omurice and the Salt & Pepper Crispy Corn. Both were really good and the presentation was to die for. I love that the pork dish came with a free Thai iced tea. Such a nice little treat that went well with the curry. It was also nice how everything was so nicely packaged. The corn dish was a little underwhelming. I was hoping it'd actually be crispy and a little more salty, but it was kind of mushy instead. I enjoyed it, but I don't think I'd order it again. The pork dish I would definitely get again, and I really think it's the star of this restaurant. Regarding service, my order was done in a timely manner and neatly packaged. I really appreciated that. Also, it's the little details that impress me, and I was so impressed with the little package of plastic wear. How cute and useful!!!

Food - 5 out of 5 Service - 5 out of 5 Ambiance - 5 out of 5 Finally after weeks and months of wandering by Kyuramen and realizing the wait was very very long, we made it onto a shorter waiting list on a weekday evening. The interior is packed but cute, and we very luckily got seated at one of the sectioned off areas at the side, which we were excited by. My friends had never had omurice, which is the dish I'd heard the most about here, so we placed a couple orders for that, a ramen and an app. You have to press a button to get service but they're very prompt. We ordered and the food came out so so quickly we were stunned. The servers present the omurice beautifully and it's definitely a fun little show. And it's not just pretty, the omurice with curry and pork definitely hit the spot!! The egg was custard-y smooth and the pork was heartbreakingly crispy. I say heartbreaking because I was almost sad to eat it and finish it. Also we really liked their little condiments on the side, especially the sauerkrat one! We will absolutely be back.

Sweet spot, very nice decor and the individual booth "rooms" was a hit for us. Ordering is streamlined with a concierge button to price when you need something, ready to order, or to pay and a staff member will arrive shortly. We decided to go with the omurice (regular with Demi glace sauce and tonkatsu with curry sauce). I personally wasn't a fan of the dishes in general but could just be my preference. The curry style was definitely better IMO, the Demi glacé got to a point where I just didn't want to taste it anymore if that makes sense, maybe needed something to cut the flavor for me. The portion was large we def should have shared just one omelette rice order! Presentation was wonderful, the cut, the spread, the eggs were the show! We started off with popcorn chicken, flavor was good, this style popcorn chicken was definitely chewy style, i prefer Taiwanese crispy style personally with less chew but still good start. Tokayaki typically isn't my favorite because a lot of places that do it it's just mushy. This place, i enjoyed this dish, hot came out flaky and had texture to it. The Thai teas, what can i say, a solid Thai tea in a Japanese cuisine restaurant! Unexpected but it was balanced, creamy and not watery powder mix like some others.

This is such an amazing and unique experience! Walking into the restaurant, there are private and stylish booths. I was seated in a traditional Japanese style booth which I really appreciate. Some people could get the short end of the stick as there's tables outside the booth. The omurice was phenomenal! Great smooth egg texture! Great umami and salty sauce thay compliments the egg and amazing fried rice. The tonkatsu was juicy and crispy. The included Thai iced tea with the set makes a great sweet addition to the whole meal! I would recommend going here with friends on a random Tuesday night! The food is great and the atmosphere is lively!

On a Sunday lunch I decided to try out Kyuramen, enticed by the prospect of omurice. At noon, I arrived to a quiet venue, with a few tables seated. Naturally, I received seating immediately. The interior decor, full of light wood notes and a facade resembling old Japanese wood buildings, creates a fitting ambiance. Of note are the quasi-private booths that come equipped with wifi details and a summon server button like those in KBBQ restaurants. I ordered for myself the Pork Tonktasu Omurice combo ($24.99), with demi glace sauce and lemonlade. I didn't really want a drink, but it was bundled in the combo. The picture on the menu belied its size. I fully expected to get ripped off since I rarely see omurice in menus around here, but I received a giant rice pilaf and gooey omelette. The waitress cut the omelet in front of me to reveal the aesthetic pyroclatic omelet flow. If only I had remembered to record it! The waitress also brought the omurice, demi glace, and tontaksu in a nice wooden tray. I wish she gave me the whole tray instead of individually moving everything from it to the table. The tonktasu itself, sized as an appetizer or add-on, while decent, ended up eclipsed by the fluffy, savory, and addictive omurice. I also tried the okonomiyaki ($9.99) and popcorn chicken ($8.99). The okonomiyaki, Osaka style, was a large savory pancake, a bit gooey inside, and topped with copious amounts of fish flakes. The popcorn chicken proved forgettable. The pieces were small and nugget-y and the coating lacked the bold flavors of obscene basil and 5 spice. Then again, it's a Japanese place making a Taiwanese snack. Maybe stick to karaage here. Overall, I would definitely return for the aesthetic and omurice. I wish I could order it without a drink, and next time I think I don't even need the tonkatsu add-on based on volume of food. Had I not ordered the popcorn chicken, this review would be an easy 5*.

Solidly four stars. Great service: attentive, friendly, and prompt. The lobster salad balls are delicious, as were the desserts. The actual ramen, we ordered two ramen bowls that were plated in one bowl, was quite mid. The sides were also not very good; the tonkatsu fried pork is not really my cup of tea. The skewers are good though! I would probably come back. Every time I come here, the line is out the door, but this time we were seated immediately. Kind of a cool experience.
